Conditions of Participation

for the AI Summit 2023 from October 20 to 21, 2023 in Munich hosted by TUM.ai e.V. For a smooth and successful realization of the AI Summit in Munich, it is necessary to agree on some rules. The following rules are therefore binding for all participants:

1) I am aware that I represent myself with my behavior. I will therefore adapt my behavior accordingly at all events within the framework of the AI Summit 2023. In addition, I will treat all persons present at the AI Summit with respect.
2) The consumption of alcoholic beverages shall be expressly in moderation at all events. The consumption of illegal, intoxicating agents and substances is strictly forbidden and will lead to immediate exclusion from the congress in case of non-compliance. Furthermore, the TUM.ai e. V. reserves the right of exclusion from further TUM.ai meetings or events in this case.
3) The adherence to the time windows at all meeting points for shuttle or departures is out of the question for me and I will appear punctually. Should this not be the case, I will bear the consequences and organize the respective transfer at my own expense and risk.
4) Smoking is not allowed in any of the locations and accommodations. I will be charged for any costs incurred if I smoke nevertheless.
5) I unconditionally accept the house rules of the accommodation in which I will be accommodated. In case of refusal, I can be excluded from the event.
6) The house and event regulations of all other facilities are to be observed at all times. In case of violation, the respective consequences are to be borne by myself.
7) Costs for additional services that are not included in the participation in the AI Summit 2023 and are not expressly authorized by the members of the AI Summit organization team of TUM.ai e.V. are borne by me personally.
8) I am personally liable for any damage to property or financial loss caused by me during the AI Summit 2023. Possible damages will be invoiced and claimed after the event.
9) The TUM.ai e.V. exclude their liability for damages to participant's property, as well as for its loss, in case of slight negligence. The use of provided checkrooms etc. is therefore at the participant's own risk.
10) Participation in this congress is only permitted for persons over 18 years of age.
11) The instructions of the AI Summit organization team as well as of helpers of TUM.ai e.V. must be followed immediately at all times.
12) In case of non-compliance with points 1) to 11), there is the possibility of exclusion from the AI Summit in Munich. In this case, any transport or travel costs are to be borne by myself. A refund of the participation fee or a partial fee is excluded. Furthermore, the TUM.ai e. V. reserves the right to exclude me from further TUM.ai events in this case.
13) My registration is binding.

The participation fee is:

100€ (gross) for a Weekend Pass,
80€ (gross) for a Friday Evening Ticket,
10€ (gross) for a Saturday Pass for Students,
30€ (gross) for a Saturday Pass for Corporate,
30€ (gross) for a Saturday Pass for Startups.

The above-mentioned participation fee might be reduced by Discount Codes. A withdrawal from the registration and partial refund for the ticket prices is only possible until one week after the purchase of the ticket (end of day). The partial refund is 50% of the original ticket price. After this deadline, a refund is not possible.

Should individual provisions of this agreement be invalid or unenforceable or become invalid or unenforceable after conclusion, this shall not affect the validity of the remainder of the agreement. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision whose effects come as close as possible to the objective pursued by the contracting parties with the invalid or unenforceable provision. The above provisions shall apply mutatis mutandis in the event that the agreement proves to be incomplete.
